Sales Supervisor

About the role

A client of Shugulika Africa Limited, a manufacturing company, is looking for a qualified, detail-oriented and organized Sales Supervisor in Dar es Salaam. The role provides excellent customer service and helps grow company revenue by supervising and coordinating the schedules of sales representatives so they meet and exceed sales quotas.

Key responsibilities

• Drive branch sales revenue and lead generation for new product development (NPD)
• Ensure the FMCG standard of 30 total calls and 18 productive calls per month
• Implement the organization's sales policies and processes
• Build and maintain positive distribution and market relationships, including outlet activation and product placement
• Monitor sales reps' performance against revenue and category goals, and ensure 100% stock fill from branch to market
• Coordinate wholesale and distribution markets, review shelf displays and off-take cycles, and gather competition feedback
• Maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, semi-wholesalers and A-class retailers, and build the sales pipeline for business channels
• Launch and implement schemes, and lead and coach the team of sales representatives

Required profile

• Over 6 years of work experience in manufacturing
• Experience in FMCG, cosmetics, food and beverage companies is an added advantage
