Housekeeping Manager – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Housekeeping Manager will lead all housekeeping, laundry and public‑area operations at RIU Jambo Zanzibar, ensuring the resort delivers the pristine cleanliness and luxury experience expected by our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily housekeeping, laundry and public area activities, guaranteeing consistent room and facility standards.
• Maintain the highest levels of sanitation, hygiene and presentation in line with health, safety and RIU protocols.
• Lead, coach and motivate a multicultural housekeeping team, fostering high morale and performance.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Maintenance and resort leadership to achieve seamless room turn‑arounds.
• Control departmental budgets, manage supply ordering, linen inventory and cost‑control initiatives.
• Monitor guest feedback and continuously improve service quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or senior housekeeping leader in a five‑star or luxury all‑inclusive resort.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities with a hands‑on approach.
• Excellent organizational, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for maintaining world‑class standards.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
