Branch Sales Manager (Moshi)

About the role

A manufacturing company, represented by Shugulika Africa Limited, is looking for a Branch Sales Manager based in Moshi. The role is responsible for growing the branch's client base and revenues, working with a sales team to generate leads through continuous sales promotions, and ensuring the team follows company policy and meets sales quotas.

Key responsibilities

• Take end-to-end responsibility for branch sales, distribution and branch operations, implementing policies and processes aligned with distribution penetration.
• Design and implement plans to increase coverage and market share through route, retail and credit innovation, and optimise the sales setup and resource use.
• Drive go-to-market and sales excellence through standard KPIs and a tracking mechanism using AI technology.
• Align strategy with brand management, sales and business development, and execution excellence to grow market share and profitability.
• Deliver distribution programmes covering width, depth and velocity, and track customer, brand and trade KPIs and EBITDA.
• Ensure the approved annual plan for top-line revenue and bottom-line profitability is met, including budgeted revenue, margin and profitability targets.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, including logistics, delivery, customer support and quality assurance, to keep operations efficient and customers satisfied.
• Maintain a strong branch sales and distribution structure and a positive work climate that attracts and retains staff, and report on team performance metrics.

Required profile

• Over 8 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
• FMCG experience is an added advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, and good leadership and coaching abilities.
• Good marketing skills and general knowledge of sales techniques.
• Assertive and able to handle pressure effectively.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
