Principal Officer – HAM & Admin

About the role

The Principal Officer, HAM & Admin will lead the implementation of approved policies and programs to ensure efficient administration, material handling, and facility management across the plant. This role supports a first‑class maintenance culture and oversees fleet, contracts, and budgetary activities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage all administrative procedures and systems.
• Drive a first‑class maintenance culture for office and residential buildings within the plant portfolio.
• Inspect plant facilities regularly and ensure contractors meet Service Level Agreements.
• Implement approved fleet management policies, supervise official and pool vehicles, and minimise downtime.
• Oversee contracts and service providers for staff buses, housing, cleaning and maintenance.
• Monitor office inventory, procure supplies, and manage budgets for administrative functions.
• Organise office events, meetings and official visits.
• Escalate administrative issues to the Head, HAM/Admin for prompt resolution.
• Prepare periodic management reports based on inputs from unit heads.
• Arrange airport pick‑up and drop‑off for expatriates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum five years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in an administrative or similar role.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation abilities.
• Excellent planning, organising and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
