Field Extension Officer

About the role

The Field Extension Officer will support vulnerable children and households by delivering high‑quality project interventions, managing budgets, and ensuring robust monitoring and reporting. This role works closely with district coordinators, partners, and local authorities to achieve the project’s development objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Implement project activities according to the Project Design Document and Logframe, tracking targets and reporting to the District Project Coordinator and Head Office.
• Collaborate innovatively with partners, local government authorities, and stakeholders to influence policy, promote social cohesion, gender equality, and protection for beneficiaries.
• Identify and engage vulnerable households within the assigned district, fostering peace and stability between refugee and host communities.
• Participate in annual and multi‑year budget planning, monitor monthly budget burn rates, ensure compliance with finance policies and donor requirements, and support internal and external audits.
• Adapt and contribute to the project theory of change, lead impact measurement, collect baseline and periodic data, and prepare timely progress reports.
• Work with the MEAL Officer to implement monitoring, evaluation, learning activities and generate evidence for policy impact.
