Principal Officer – HAM & Admin

About the role

The Principal Officer, HAM & Admin will support the implementation of approved HAM/Admin policies and programmes, ensuring efficient management of administration, maintenance and material resources for the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage all administrative procedures and systems.
• Drive a first‑class maintenance culture for office and residential buildings within the plant portfolio.
• Inspect plant facilities regularly and ensure maintenance contractors meet Service Level Agreements.
• Implement fleet management policies, supervise official and pool vehicles, and minimise downtime.
• Oversee contracts and service providers for staff buses, housing, cleaning and maintenance.
• Monitor office inventory, procure supplies, and manage budgets for administrative functions.
• Coordinate office events, meetings and official visits.
• Escalate administrative issues to the Head, HAM/Admin for resolution.
• Prepare periodic management reports based on inputs from unit heads.
• Arrange airport pick‑up and drop‑off for expatriates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in an administrative or similar role.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent planning, organising and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
