About the role

Iberostar Group is seeking a Construction Site Manager to lead the execution, monitoring, and closure of a new hotel project in Zanzibar. The role involves overseeing all phases of the works, ensuring compliance with Iberostar’s quality and design standards, and supporting the expatriation process for the selected candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, prepare budget estimates, and organize human, material, and equipment resources during the design phase.
• Manage tendering processes, evaluate offers, and supervise contracts and purchase orders during construction.
• Control budgets, analyse cost variations, approve supplier invoices, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Coordinate planning with subcontractors, monitor on‑site execution, and propose improvements to enhance profitability.
• Oversee machinery, auxiliary equipment, and subcontractor performance, ensuring work quality and safety.
• Lead the close‑out phase, including as‑built documentation and final hand‑over procedures.

Required profile

• Fluent Spanish speaker willing to relocate to Zanzibar.
• Proven experience in managing construction projects from inception to completion.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Willingness to work on an expatriate assignment with relocation support.
