Construction Methods Specialist – Pre‑Commissioning & PTW

About the role

Join a leading workforce solutions provider as a Construction Methods Specialist supporting a 1,500 km pipeline project across Uganda and Tanzania. You will focus on safe and efficient construction methods during the pre‑commissioning and commissioning phases.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor project disciplines and contractors on feasible, efficient, and safe construction methods.
• Identify key risks and develop management systems to mitigate them.
• Ensure compliance with IOGP LSR requirements through system implementation.
• Develop and deliver training programmes on construction, pre‑commissioning, commissioning, quality and safety.
• Implement a Deming process to improve project outcomes.
• Oversee the development, implementation and monitoring of Permit‑to‑Work (PTW) systems.

Required profile

• Technically qualified professional with experience in international oil and gas operations.
• Education equivalent to a NEBOSH Diploma.
• Certifications in ISO 31000, ISO 45001 and ISO 9001.
• Proven ability to guide multidisciplinary teams and manage large‑scale projects.
