Interior Design and Hotel Presentation Manager

About the role

The Interior Design and Hotel Presentation Manager will be responsible for maintaining and continuously enhancing the visual and experiential standards of Mala Boutique Hotel. Working closely with guests and staff, you will ensure every guest‑facing element reflects the hotel’s brand, atmosphere and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a warm, visible host during dinner events, engaging with guests, learning names and preferences, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Conduct regular walkthroughs of rooms, villas and public areas, identifying worn furniture, soft furnishings or décor and proposing updates that align with the hotel’s style.
• Source and select new visual items such as lighting, artwork, cushions and accessories when approved.
• Oversee food and beverage presentation, ensuring dishes leaving the kitchen are consistently well‑presented and table settings, plating style and garnish meet visual standards.
• Maintain uniform, linen, cushion, décor and lighting quality, flagging items that need replacement, tailoring or refreshing.
• Serve as the internal reference for brand and atmosphere, ensuring consistency across interior styling, guest interaction tone and food presentation, and training staff by example.

Required profile

• Naturally warm, confident and observant with a strong eye for aesthetics and detail.
• Comfortable speaking one‑on‑one with guests and noticing small things others overlook.
• Calm, tasteful and not flashy, with a hospitality or lifestyle background preferred (boutique hotel, restaurant, events, retail, design‑led café).
