Senior Policy Manager, Embedded Labs Program

About the role

The Senior Policy Manager will lead the Embedded Labs program, supporting governments in using data and evidence to shape public policy. Working closely with the Senior Director, the role drives program growth, internal learning systems, external outreach, and ensures Lab engagements stay on track.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and project management for Lab engagements from design through implementation.
• Support monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) to assess program impact and develop best practices.
• Develop and deliver onboarding and training materials for Embedded Labs staff and other teams.
• Produce case studies, toolkits, and evidence reviews, and help execute the communication strategy.
• Identify and pursue business development and fundraising opportunities, and manage grant reporting.
• Coordinate strategic events such as summits, workshops, technical working groups, and the annual Cross‑Country Learning Exchange.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, development, international relations, public administration, public policy or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in policy, program management, or government engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with government partners and international teams.
