Sales Officer – Mwanza

About the role

Watu is seeking a motivated Sales Officer to join its fast‑growing asset finance team in Mwanza, Tanzania. You will be the front‑line representative, promoting financing solutions to local entrepreneurs and helping them achieve their business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Represent Watu and execute the company’s sales plan within the assigned area.
• Generate and follow up on leads, converting prospects into customers month over month.
• Conduct product presentations, capture client information, and maintain accurate records of interactions.
• Organise community meetings (e.g., bodaboda and LGA gatherings) to raise brand awareness.
• Provide on‑site customer support, answering queries about loan repayment, recovery, and insurance.
• Submit daily reports on marketing activities, client interest, and sales outcomes.

Required profile

• Experienced sales professional comfortable working in the field.
• Strong community engagement and ability to build relationships with local entrepreneurs.
