Relationship Officer Supervisor – Fixed Term

About the role

The Relationship Officer Supervisor leads a team of Relationship Officers to drive savings, insurance, and loan growth while ensuring portfolio quality and compliance. This fixed‑term position reports to senior management and plays a key role in expanding outreach to vulnerable communities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of Relationship Officers and monitor performance against targets.
• Lead marketing and client acquisition efforts for savings, insurance, and loan products.
• Validate loan appraisals, conduct spot checks, and enforce zero tolerance on missed repayments.
• Ensure all operations comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle client complaints, conduct re‑briefings, and oversee accurate loan reporting.
• Identify staffing needs, coordinate recruitment, and plan training programs.
• Track portfolio performance, take corrective actions, and report results to management.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising a team in a micro‑finance or banking environment.
• Strong ability to coach, mentor, and evaluate staff performance.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting savings, insurance, and loan disbursement targets.
• Excellent analytical skills for credit oversight and portfolio quality monitoring.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders.
