Regional Site Specialist II – International

About the role

The Regional Site Specialist II, International is responsible for coordinating and planning preventive and corrective maintenance of SBA Communications' tower sites across the assigned geographic area. The role ensures that tower conditions meet both industry standards and SBA’s internal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously audit and update site information across databases to maintain accurate records.
• Identify, resolve, or recommend actions for safety, regulatory, and operational discrepancies.
• Schedule and coordinate emergency response efforts for natural disasters, dispatching contractors as needed.
• Collaborate with the Collocation Regional Site Manager to optimize tower and ground space utilization.
• Create and maintain up‑to‑date tower site drawings.
• Oversee repair, maintenance, inspection, security, and safe operation of all tower assets.
• Coordinate third‑party contractors for site inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of towers, compounds, lighting, generators, HVAC units, and power supplies.
• Support the tenant leasing process by working with internal teams to analyze applications.

Required profile

• Ability to audit and keep site data current.
• Capability to address safety, regulatory, and operational issues.
• Experience coordinating emergency response and contractor activities.
• Strong collaboration skills with regional site managers and internal teams.
• Proficiency in creating and updating technical drawings.
• Knowledge of tower asset maintenance and security procedures.
