Process Artisan – Packaging Operations

About the role

The Process Artisan works on the packaging line, operating the process area according to detailed work instructions, performing non‑destructive quality checks and carrying out routine maintenance. The role supports continuous production, ensures product quality, and contributes to equipment reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the process area following work instructions and usage standards.
• Perform required quality checks and record results in the designated system.
• Document waste, review trends and identify improvement opportunities.
• Monitor process performance, complete short‑interval control documentation and respond quickly to upstream/downstream triggers.
• Apply problem‑solving methods as defined in work practices.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment using 5S principles.
• Assist team members with their tasks and follow safe‑work procedures.
• Execute in‑depth cleaning, lubrication and inspection of machines per maintenance schedules.
• Carry out routine maintenance, escalate unresolved issues to the team leader, and participate in maintenance days and post‑mortems.
• Monitor maintenance trends and trigger corrective actions when underlying problems are detected.
