Brewing Lab Specialist

About the role

The Brewing Lab Specialist will manage and coordinate quality control activities within a brewery laboratory, ensuring that all analyses comply with AB InBev standards and specifications. This role bridges laboratory operations with production teams to maintain data integrity and uphold the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and audit quality systems for the brewery, ensuring laboratory teams have the necessary competencies.
• Maintain functional and data integrity of quality systems, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
• Oversee budgetary controls related to brewing and utilities plant asset care.
• Verify that team members perform quality checks and record results accurately in designated systems.
• Ensure laboratory equipment operates optimally and address problems or improvement opportunities.
• Implement changes to analytical standards (COT) and provide training as needed.
• Lead, mentor, and coach the laboratory team, fostering ownership and performance management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in laboratory quality management within a brewing or beverage environment.
• Strong understanding of quality systems, data integrity, and audit processes.
• Ability to collaborate with central office and regional teams on quality initiatives.
• Leadership skills to develop and coach laboratory staff.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem‑solving capabilities.
