Packaging Operator

About the role

The Packaging Operator is responsible for running the packaging line to ensure consistent product quality, high throughput, and minimal waste. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, supporting brand and pack changes while maintaining a safe and clean workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Start‑up, shutdown and operation of packaging machinery.
• Manage waste, perform in‑depth cleaning and first‑level maintenance.
• Monitor process performance, conduct quality checks and take corrective actions.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment and follow health‑and‑safety legislation.
• Communicate with internal teams, customers and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Participate in problem‑solving and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical trade.
• Ability to work shifts in a packaging environment.
• Proven experience operating packaging processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to react quickly to out‑of‑control situations.
• Understanding of relevant health, safety and labour legislation.
