About the role

The Deputy Manager Business Development will lead channel development and dealer recruitment for KITS products across key East African markets, primarily Kenya and Tanzania. You will build and manage a localized distribution network while ensuring smooth order processing and delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and negotiate with dealers to expand the KITS product footprint in Kenya and Tanzania.
  • Maintain existing channels, handling quotations, orders, payments and after‑sales coordination.
  • Research local solar and energy‑storage market conditions, competitor trends, policies and end‑user demand, producing market analysis reports.
  • Design and implement regional development strategies and support marketing campaigns, exhibitions and offline events.
  • Collaborate with after‑sales teams to address technical inquiries, documentation, certifications and logistics.
  • Achieve regional sales and channel expansion targets, and regularly submit business reviews and work plans.

Required profile

  • College diploma or higher; preferably in International Trade, Marketing or New Energy.
  • 1–3 years of overseas sales or channel development experience in Africa, with a focus on residential energy storage, PV or inverter industries.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to travel long‑term overseas and work independently.
  • Familiarity with foreign trade procedures, international settlement and basic customs clearance is a plus.
