Checker Operator – Warehouse & Inventory Specialist

About the role

The Checker Operator is responsible for safely loading, unloading and stacking materials while maintaining accurate inventory records. You will support production lines, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and collaborate closely with logistics and warehouse teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑trip forklift inspections and ensure the equipment is clean, maintained and fueled.
• Follow health, safety and environmental standards, including PPE use and 5S housekeeping.
• Manage stock quality by applying FEFO rotation, checking packaging, and performing daily counts with a handheld device.
• Generate variance reports, resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate inventory movements.
• Load and unload vehicles and production lines, record returns, and complete all required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with inventory, warehouse and logistics coordinators to ensure production continuity.

• Computer literate with basic digital device skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and capacity to work under pressure.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
