CCR Operator Internship

About the role

This on‑site internship in the Tanga Region supports the Central Control Room (CCR) of a cement plant. As a CCR Operator Intern you will assist senior operators and engineers in monitoring, controlling and troubleshooting the production process to ensure smooth and safe operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor real‑time plant data and equipment performance from the central control room.
• Assist in adjusting process parameters to maintain optimal production efficiency.
• Support quality control activities and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Help diagnose and resolve operational issues under the guidance of senior staff.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and documentation of workflow procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process Engineering or a related field.
• Basic understanding of cement manufacturing processes and equipment operation.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret production data.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
• Awareness of safety regulations and environmental compliance in an industrial setting.
