Planning Coordinator (E&R) – Level 2

About the role

The Coordinator 2 – E&R – Planning supports the execution of the Business Process Framework for material, tool and service resourcing on scheduled work orders at Geita Gold Mine. You will ensure that all resources are available on time, track their history, and collaborate with supply chain and planning teams to keep projects on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the Resource element of the Business Process Framework.
• Review daily Material Status Reports and verify delivery due dates.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Planners, Schedulers and First‑Line Managers to secure required resources.
• Identify and escalate critical issues that could delay work order completion.
• Oversee receiving, checking, labeling and binning of materials for work orders.
• Monitor delivery of Work Package Bins, ensure timely off‑loading, de‑stuffing and return of surplus bins.
• Provide feedback on critical delivery issues during schedule acceptance meetings.
• Maintain accurate material and resource data records to support planning.

Required profile

• Full Technician Certificate (FTC) or Diploma in Mechanical, Automotive or Electrical Engineering.
• Valid Class E driving licence.
• Minimum 5 years of mining industry experience.
• Strong analytical ability and computer proficiency.
