Van Sales Representative – FMCG

About the role

The company is looking for a proactive Van Sales Representative to manage a defined territory, execute sales routes, and achieve SKU‑specific targets. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring product availability, proper merchandising, and strong trade relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute sales routes based on the Permanent Journey Plan and IQ recommendations.
• Meet or exceed sell‑out targets for each SKU while adhering to overall tertiary sales goals.
• Utilise Trading Terms (e.g., retail discounts) and achieve numeric distribution across the territory.
• Implement in‑store merchandising standards, POSM, and cycle priorities.
• Manage product quality by rotating stock, preventing expiry, and handling damaged goods according to trade return policies.
• Visit all customers on scheduled dates, communicate price updates, and maintain strong trade relations.
• Maintain accurate sales administration records, submit reports via mobile tools, and reconcile daily sales and cash float.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months experience as a sales representative in the FMCG industry.
• Basic Certificate in Sales & Marketing or a related field.
• Valid driver’s license.
