Spa Consultant

About the role

The Spa Consultant will be the first point of contact for guests at Kai Zanzibar Hotel & Spa, guiding them through the spa’s wellness offerings and ensuring a personalized, relaxing experience. Based on the beautiful Nungwi beachfront, this full‑time, on‑site position blends guest service, sales, and coordination of treatment schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, conduct consultations and recommend suitable treatments, packages and retail products.
• Manage bookings, treatment calendars and communicate effectively with therapists.
• Maintain a calm, clean and hygienic spa environment in line with safety and quality standards.
• Support retail sales by promoting spa products and providing accurate information on pricing and promotions.
• Gather guest feedback, follow‑up after treatments and contribute to continuous service improvement.
• Collaborate with the spa team to uphold service standards and ensure seamless operations.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a welcoming and attentive attitude.
• Proven ability to sell and recommend spa treatments and retail items.
• Experience in spa, wellness or luxury hospitality environments is highly beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and capable of handling multiple guest requests efficiently.
