Senior Project Coordinator

About the role

The Senior Project Coordinator will act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders for the Office of the Country Director. This role combines comprehensive project management with high‑level administrative support to ensure effective planning, coordination, and documentation of health programs.

Key responsibilities

• Support development, review, and submission of donor reports and project deliverables.
• Coordinate sub‑grantee management and ensure compliance with donor requirements.
• Maintain award documentation, including amendments, budget realignments, and obligation tracking.
• Organize and document management meetings, monthly reviews, project start‑up and close‑out activities.
• Provide proactive administrative support to the Country Director, managing communications, filing systems, and logistics for meetings and travel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Law, Management, Social Sciences, Public Health or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in project administration or executive support, preferably with international NGOs or health programs.
• Fluency in English and Kiswahili (written and spoken).
• Strong understanding of Tanzania’s government and donor landscape.
• Proven stakeholder engagement experience with government, donors and implementing partners.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with collaborative platforms such as Teams and SharePoint.
• Excellent copy‑editing, proofreading and formatting abilities.
