Senior Technical Advisor – TB Services

About the role

The Senior Technical Advisor – TB Services will lead the development and implementation of high‑quality, integrated TB and TB/HIV services across supported regions in Tanzania, ensuring alignment with national NTLP guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical leadership for TB service quality improvement, scale‑up, and integration with HIV programs.
• Guide project teams in documentation, best‑practice sharing, and performance monitoring across councils and facilities.
• Lead data analysis to identify gaps in the TB cascade and support targeted technical interventions.
• Coordinate with NTLP, regional health teams, and partners to harmonize TB interventions and represent the program in technical forums.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in program management and implementation of HIV/AIDS or TB programs in developing countries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, Epidemiology or related field; Master’s degree highly desirable.
• Experience in clinical management of TB and TB/HIV co‑infection in resource‑poor settings.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical and written communication skills.
