Sales Associate – Tanzania

About the role

Korridor is looking for a Sales Associate in Tanzania, based in Dar es Salaam. The main purpose of the role is to deliver excellent customer service by answering product and service questions, suggesting related products and services, processing orders and preparing customer correspondence so that customer needs are met.

Key responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customer queries and process orders.
• Open and maintain customer accounts and profiles by recording account information on the admin website.
• Act as liaison between Sales, Finance, IT and customers.
• Resolve product or service problems by clarifying complaints, finding the cause, proposing the best solution, expediting correction and following up until resolved.
• Prepare product or service reports and manage inbound customer calls.
• Identify and assess customers' needs and build sustainable, trusting relationships through open, interactive communication.
• Handle customer complaints with appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits, keeping records of interactions, accounts and documents.
• Assist with placing orders, refunds and exchanges, and advise customers on available products.
• Ad hoc duties as required, including Omnibus and FICA management.

Required profile

• National Senior Certificate or equivalent; additional courses in relevant fields are advantageous.
• Valid driver's license and passport.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in sales.
• Previous experience in an inbound and outbound service centre.
• Experience in logistics and transport is advantageous.
