Sales Executive Officer - Lubricants & Equipment

About the role

A recruitment agency is looking for a motivated, results-driven Sales Executive Officer based in Mkuranga, Pwani Region, Tanzania. The role covers expanding the customer base, maintaining strong client relationships and consistently achieving sales targets in the lubricating oils and mechanical equipment sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the lubricants and equipment markets.
• Promote and sell lubricating oils and large-scale mechanical equipment to new and existing clients.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and business partners.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs, pain points and industry trends.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
• Follow up on customer inquiries and provide after-sales support.
• Meet monthly and annual sales targets and KPIs.
• Prepare accurate sales reports and update management regularly.
• Coordinate with logistics, operations and finance to ensure timely order delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 1-2 years of proven sales experience in lubricants, oil & gas, automotive products, motor vehicle spare parts, heavy machinery or industrial products.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
