Senior Insurance Sales Manager

About the role

A recruitment agency is looking for a seasoned Senior Sales Professional with a strong track record in the insurance industry, based in Dar es Salaam on a full-time, on-site basis. The successful candidate will drive new business, manage corporate client relationships and deliver consistent revenue growth. Candidates may come from an insurance company or an insurance broker background, provided they bring proven commercial expertise and hands-on sales experience.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pursue and secure new corporate insurance clients
• Use an existing portfolio of corporate clients to generate business and expand opportunities
• Maintain strong client relationships to ensure retention and long-term growth
• Provide tailored solutions for corporate insurance needs, excluding retail, life or medical segments
• Meet and exceed sales targets consistently

Required profile

• Minimum of 5+ years in insurance sales with measurable success
• Proven ability to generate new business and achieve revenue goals
• Established book of corporate clients and business relationships
• Demonstrated ability to retain and grow existing accounts
• Hands-on experience dealing with corporate insurance clients
