Sales and Marketing Officer

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales and Marketing Officer to bring our SaaS solutions to market in Tanzania. You will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and demos to closing deals—while also driving brand visibility through digital campaigns and events.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities across SMEs, financial institutions, NGOs, government agencies and enterprises.
• Conduct outreach via calls, email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and in‑person visits.
• Deliver product demos, prepare proposals, quotations and tender documents, and support bid submissions.
• Negotiate and close contracts, then hand over projects to the delivery team.
• Maintain the CRM with up‑to‑date lead information, stages and next actions.
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns on Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and email.
• Create content such as posts, case studies, product one‑pagers and client testimonials.
• Represent the company at industry events, expos and networking forums.
• Track campaign performance, report results and meet monthly/quarterly revenue targets.
• Nurture existing clients for renewals, upsells and referrals.
• Gather market and competitor intelligence to inform product positioning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of B2B sales, business development or marketing experience with a proven record of meeting targets.
• Fluent in both Kiswahili and English, written and spoken.
• Strong presentation skills for senior decision‑makers.
• Self‑managed and able to plan weekly activities independently.
• Based in Dar es Salaam with a valid national ID and clean references.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM software (e.g., Zoho CRM).
• Proficiency in Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager or Google Ads.
• Basic design abilities using Canva or Figma.
• Competence in managing spreadsheets.
