About the role
The Product Penetration Specialist will lead the growth of Vodacom M-Pesa across the region, driving customer acquisition, revenue, and market share. You will work closely with partners, internal stakeholders, and marketing teams to execute commercial plans and ensure successful on‑ground execution.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement a regional M-Pesa commercial plan aligned with annual strategy.
- Manage and grow the M-Pesa customer base, meeting all KPI targets.
- Coordinate ATL and BTL campaigns, and oversee partner (wakalas, super agents, merchants) performance.
- Maintain close monitoring of market dynamics and competitor activity, recommending mitigations.
- Prepare weekly performance reports and facilitate regional performance reviews.
- Develop and execute tactical plans to sustain growth despite market changes.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in a business‑related field.
- 3‑5 years of experience in mobile‑money sales, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Extensive knowledge of mobile financial services, distribution models, and value‑chain dynamics.
- Strong commercial analysis and on‑ground execution capabilities.
