Part-Time Piano Teacher (Contractor)

About the role

Muzikid Academy is expanding its in‑home piano programme for children aged 5‑12 in Dar es Salaam. We are looking for a warm, patient contractor who can deliver high‑quality piano lessons in the families’ homes on a part‑time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Teach piano to assigned students at their homes, following Muzikid’s structured curriculum.
• Conduct evening sessions on agreed weekdays.
• Record session notes and track student progress using the teacher dashboard.
• Maintain punctuality and reliability for each scheduled lesson.

Required profile

• Fluent reading of sheet music.
• Previous experience teaching children (5‑12 years) is preferred.
• Warm, patient, and adaptable when a child struggles.
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable following a set curriculum.

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret sheet music fluently.
