Part Sales Executive - Automotive Spare Parts

About the role

A leading automotive industry player, recruited through Shugulika Africa Limited, is hiring a Part Sales Executive in Geita. The role drives sales of automotive spare parts, manages customer relationships and coordinates internally to meet customer needs. It requires strong product knowledge, CRM use and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Present and demonstrate spare parts and accessories to prospective clients and identify new customers.
• Log sales activities, quotations and customer interactions in the CRM system and follow the defined sales process.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate terms to reach a monthly turnover target of TZS 15 million.
• Monitor competitor pricing and customer trends, and prepare weekly sales and pipeline reports.
• Follow up on sales, handle returns and warranty claims, and collect payments on agreed terms.
• Coordinate with warehouse and procurement to manage stock and reduce ageing inventory, and liaise with technical, workshop and finance teams.
• Visit regions to prospect and retain clients, attend industry events and trade shows, and take part in product training.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in parts sales, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in English and Kiswahili, with strong communication skills.
• Experience managing full sales cycles, preparing detailed quotations and maintaining customer relationships.
• Willingness to travel for regional client visits.

Required skills

• Familiarity with CRM systems; Autoline is an added advantage.
• Ability to analyse customer needs and recommend product solutions.
• Strong organisation, problem-solving and attention to detail.
