Sales & Territory Executive – Lake Zone

About the role

A client of Shugulika Africa Limited is looking for a hands-on, results-driven Sales & Territory Executive to join its team in the Lake Zone region. The role covers Mwanza, Shinyanga, Geita and Simiyu, focusing on opening and growing the market through active field sales and customer relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, open and grow new customers such as garages, retail shops, wholesalers and distributors across the Lake Zone.
• Drive daily field sales to secure orders and expand market coverage.
• Build and maintain customer relationships to ensure repeat business and loyalty.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections.
• Visit customers regularly to understand needs, resolve issues and promote products.
• Monitor competitors, market trends and customer feedback.
• Prepare and submit daily sales, collection and field activity reports.
• Coordinate with logistics, finance and operations teams for smooth order fulfilment.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field (an added advantage).
• Proven sales experience, preferably in lubricants, spare parts, FMCG or related industries.
• Strong field sales and customer engagement experience.
• Based in Mwanza or willing to relocate there.

Required skills

• Good communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage territory growth.
• Proficiency in MS Office (an added advantage).
