Junior Sales Executive - Mining Chemicals

About the role

Oxley Limited, represented by Shugulika Africa Limited, is looking for a proactive, results-driven Junior Sales Executive to support sales and customer engagement in the mining sector. The role centres on building relationships with mining clients, finding new business and helping grow regional sales of mining chemicals and consumables. The position is based in Dar es Salaam and is full time.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with mining clients, processors and distributors in the assigned territory.
• Visit customers regularly and give product support where needed.
• Identify new business opportunities and help expand the regional customer base.
• Follow up enquiries, quotations and orders to ensure timely conversion and closure.
• Work with logistics and operations teams so products are delivered smoothly and on time.
• Share market intelligence, competitor analysis and customer feedback with management.
• Support debt collection follow-ups and make sure company credit policies are followed.
• Keep accurate records of sales visits, enquiries and activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5-7 years of sales experience, preferably in mining, industrial chemicals or related industries.
• Previous experience with mining or industrial customers is an added advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, confident and able to present well.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office and reporting tools.
