Packaging Process Artisan

About the role

Join a dynamic team that keeps our packaging lines running smoothly. As a Packaging Process Artisan you will maintain, repair and optimise plant equipment to ensure high availability and product quality while keeping costs low.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and optimise packaging machines and associated devices.
• Locate plant assets, spares and relevant documentation.
• Perform routine and major maintenance tasks.
• Identify and address potential problems through regular walk‑abouts and maintenance schedules.
• Operate packaging equipment safely, monitor process parameters and shut down machines as required.
• Carry out basic maintenance, complete required documentation and ensure a safe working environment.
• Apply VPO principles, 5S standards and continuous improvement practices.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 2‑3 months of on‑the‑job training (3‑6 months ideal).
• 1‑2 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Good communication skills and a strong team player attitude.
