Network Manager – Logistics Operations

About the role

Jumia is seeking a Network Manager to oversee the coordination and operational performance of its Sorting Center, Reverse Logistics and Transport functions within the supply chain. Reporting to the Head of Logistics, the role ensures efficient parcel dispatch, cost‑effective outbound transport and compliance with service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations across the Sorting Center, Reverse Logistics and Transport, enforcing FIFO processes.
• Monitor operational backlogs, quality standards and coordinate capacity with dispatch agents and 3PL partners.
• Optimize outbound item flows and shipping routes to reduce transport cost per package.
• Lead, train and manage Sorting Center and Transportation Managers and their teams.
• Drive continuous‑improvement projects, implement scalable processes and build performance dashboards.
• Conduct field visits and regional travel to logistics nodes, collaborating with internal departments and external partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in logistics, manufacturing, production or distribution.
• Proven ability to manage large, remote operational teams and strong project‑management capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and diplomatic skills.
