Inventory Manager (Full Time)

About the role

Jumia is seeking an Inventory Manager to oversee stock levels and inventory health across its warehouse operations. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will lead a team of Inventory Supervisors to ensure accurate, efficient fulfillment for the e‑commerce platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end stock control and conduct daily/monthly cycle counts, maintaining precise records of all received, moved, and shipped items.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to address aging inventory through return‑to‑vendor actions or promotional campaigns.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization and map inventory processes, enforcing strict FIFO execution and safe handling.
• Prepare detailed operational reports on stock levels, adjustments, and storage compliance, ensuring system adherence.
• Supervise and develop Inventory Supervisors while working closely with inbound, outbound, and after‑sales teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field; project‑management certifications are a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in warehouse management or FMCG, with strong knowledge of direct‑to‑consumer e‑commerce fulfillment and inventory forecasting.
• Fluency in English and proficiency in French and/or Arabic, depending on location.
• Excellent data‑analysis, organizational and problem‑solving abilities, with a high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with inventory management software.
