Regional Inventory Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Regional Inventory Controller to own end‑to‑end stock integrity at our Tanzanian fulfillment centre. You will ensure accurate inventory records, enforce transaction discipline and support finance with reliable valuation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound receipt, verification, serialized GRNs and quarantine of non‑conforming stock.
• Maintain warehouse zoning across six zones, enforce bin‑level location control and ensure all movements are recorded in the IMS.
• Oversee outbound picking, packing, documentation and S&OE deployment plans.
• Lead reverse logistics, classify returns, update IMS in real time and manage supplier return credits.
• Design and execute tiered cycle‑count programmes, conduct quarterly reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Produce weekly and monthly inventory reports for supply‑chain and finance stakeholders.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of warehouse operations experience with direct ownership of stock accuracy.
• Degree or HND in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration or Engineering.
• Proven ability to work in emerging‑market environments with infrastructure constraints.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration with Procurement, Finance, Operations and Tech teams.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with IMS/WMS or ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets reporting and analysis.
• Design and execution of cycle‑count programmes and variance analysis.
• Inventory reconciliation across system, physical stock and financial records.
