Kiswahili Learning Coordinator

About the role

Kiswahili Simplified is seeking a full‑time coordinator to lead the creation, organization, and distribution of Kiswahili language‑learning resources. Based in Dar es Salaam, you will work closely with content creators, academic partners, and the growing community of learners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the production of audio, video, and interactive educational materials.
• Ensure all resources meet quality and academic standards.
• Collaborate with universities, cultural experts, and app development teams.
• Maintain project timelines and support the launch of the new language‑learning app.
• Engage with the Kiswahili Simplified community through events and online platforms.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Kiswahili, with excellent writing and editing abilities.
• Project‑management experience and ability to work with diverse teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Kiswahili, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
• Experience in teaching or curriculum development is a plus.
• Passion for language education and cultural exchange.
