About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Head of Primary School to lead our CBSE curriculum primary wing in Dar es Salaam. The role involves overseeing academic and administrative functions, ensuring high standards of education, and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the academic and administrative functions of the primary wing.
• Ensure effective implementation of the CBSE curriculum.
• Supervise and mentor teaching staff for continuous professional development.
• Develop and implement educational programs and school policies.
• Foster a positive and productive learning environment.
• Engage with parents to address concerns and update them on school activities.
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and school performance.
• Organize and lead staff meetings and parent‑teacher conferences.
• Ensure adherence to school policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Master's degree and Diploma/Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership position, preferably in a CBSE‑affiliated school.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and educational standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
• Strong understanding of child development and education best practices.
