Digital Sales and Services Representative

About the role

The Digital Sales and Services Representative will drive lead generation, sales growth and business development for Sandvik’s Automation portfolio across the Central Africa Sales Area. Based in Mwanza, Tanzania, the role focuses on promoting Newtrax and UFR OEM‑agnostic solutions while building strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the automation offering and expand the pipeline.
• Identify and engage potential clients, understand their needs and present suitable solutions.
• Lead sales projects, manage approvals, pricing and business cases.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on forecasting, marketing, product launches and cost management.
• Monitor market and competitor activity to inform pricing and market‑penetration tactics.
• Travel regularly across the Central Africa region to meet customers and partners.

Required profile

• Degree in engineering, business or a related field.
• Proven sales experience or strong willingness to develop in a technical sales environment.
• Ability to work in a matrix organisation and communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to a dynamic, results‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Experience using CRM systems.
• Familiarity with business insights tools.
• Ability to analyse data with analytics tools.
