Co-Founder (Leadership Role)

About the role

Bilima is seeking a Co‑Founder to help shape the vision, strategy and operational roadmap of its digital beverage supply‑chain platform in Tanzania. This full‑time, on‑site position works closely with the founding team to drive product development, forge partnerships and oversee daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and validate Bilima’s business model and go‑to‑market strategy.
• Lead market research, customer discovery and translate insights into product improvements.
• Secure and manage funding, prepare investor presentations and represent the company in stakeholder meetings.
• Build and negotiate partnerships with suppliers, retailers, wholesalers and logistics providers.
• Oversee product development, operations and financial planning, ensuring disciplined budgeting and revenue forecasting.
• Recruit, mentor and lead a high‑performing team, establishing scalable processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in entrepreneurship, senior management or business leadership within technology, logistics, retail or FMCG.
• Strong background in business strategy, market analysis and financial planning.
• Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and negotiate agreements.
• Experience leading product development and operations in a fast‑changing environment.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and team‑building skills.
• Resilience, on‑site availability in Tanzania and commitment to long‑term growth.
