Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will support the development and execution of finance strategy across multiple finance job families, ensuring compliance, accurate reporting, and effective business partnering. This role is pivotal in safeguarding financial resources and driving continuous improvement within the finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all financial reporting submissions, ensuring accuracy, IFRS compliance, and adherence to corporate deadlines.
• Coordinate weekly and month‑end closing activities, manage accruals, and maintain balance‑sheet integrity.
• Ensure timely statutory filings, tax submissions, and compliance with local regulations.
• Lead internal and external audit processes, addressing findings with robust action plans.
• Manage working‑capital performance, including DSO, overdue receivables, provisions, and bad‑debt exposure.
• Act as primary finance contact for the local CFO and partner with functional managers to align finance processes.
• Lead, coach, and develop the finance team, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives using LEAN and automation tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance reporting, month‑end closing, and balance‑sheet reconciliation.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, statutory filing requirements, and tax compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage audit processes and implement corrective actions.
• Experience in working‑capital management and cash‑flow optimisation.
• Leadership experience with a focus on team development and process improvement.
