Regional Auditor

About the role

The Regional Auditor will deliver independent assurance and consulting services to enhance the effectiveness of risk management, internal control, and governance across our regional operations. Working under the guidance of the Regional Audit Manager, you will lead audit engagements, document findings, and provide actionable recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in annual audit planning and contribute to the development of the audit schedule.
• Plan and execute audit engagements in line with the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) and GAA methodologies.
• Engage with senior leadership in national offices to understand business processes and assess risks.
• Conduct detailed risk‑based audits and advisory assignments, documenting findings promptly.
• Prepare clear audit reports summarising criteria, risks, and improvement recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with GAA quality standards throughout the audit lifecycle.
• Support follow‑up on prior audit findings and facilitate timely closure.
• Provide capacity‑building support on risk‑based audits and Enterprise Risk Management to management teams.
