Project Management Officer

About the role

DP World is seeking a Project Management Officer to support its Project Management Team in developing and implementing tools that monitor and control large‑scale construction projects. The role works closely with the Site Project Manager, contractors, and consultants to ensure schedules and costs are accurately tracked.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Site PM in maintaining and updating project schedule baselines.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants and the Project Management Team to reconcile actual progress against baselines.
• Identify schedule‑related risks, propose mitigation actions and develop what‑if scenarios for decision‑making.
• Review vendor schedules and provide guidance to the Site PM.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and contribute to cost monitoring using Earned Value Management (EVM) spreadsheets.
• Assist in day‑to‑day project activities, organize project team meetings and supervise site works in coordination with consultants and contractors.
• Translate documents between French and English, verify accuracy and distribute to internal stakeholders.
• Extract financial data from Oracle for EVM reporting and process project‑related invoices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 5 years post‑degree experience.
• At least 3 years in a PMO, project management or construction supervision role.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMI‑PMP) is an advantage; DP World will support certification within the initial employment period.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Oracle database extraction.
• Advanced Excel skills for EVM spreadsheet preparation.
• Fluency in French and English for document translation.
