About the role
The Assistant Relationship Manager supports the Relationship Manager in achieving revenue and balance‑sheet targets while ensuring high‑quality client service. The role involves active use of Salesforce for pipeline management, client engagement, and handling surveys and complaints.
Key responsibilities
- Drive client adoption of digital banking channels such as AAO, GepG and bulk mobile disbursements.
- Identify income opportunities through service engagements and monitor the pipeline in Salesforce.
- Analyse MYMI data to detect income drops, dormancy, volume declines and leakage.
- Support growth of liabilities, focusing on higher‑yield LCY and FCY CASA accounts.
- Cross‑sell and upsell to existing clients, targeting unused facilities and dormant accounts.
- Assist the RM in winning Primary Banker mandates and reduce client incidents, queries and complaints.
- Monitor shadow revenue targets in FX, card acquiring and other RBB income streams.
- Ensure timely submission of client drawdown, repayment and security documents to RCU and auditors.
- Conduct high‑quality client engagement sessions (face‑to‑face, phone, Teams, video) with clear agendas and documented outcomes in Salesforce.
Required profile
- Experience supporting Relationship Managers in a banking or financial services environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret income‑related data.
- Proactive approach to client service and issue resolution.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external clients.
Required skills
- Salesforce (pipeline and call‑report logging).
