Strategic Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Lead

About the role

Educate! is seeking a Strategic Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Lead to drive MEL coordination for the Leaders in Teaching (LIT) Coordination Platform in Tanzania. You will work across four partner organisations and collaborate closely with the Mastercard Foundation to shape a shared impact narrative around secondary education reform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement MEL frameworks for the LIT platform.
• Coordinate data collection, analysis, and reporting across partner organisations.
• Develop and communicate a unified impact story for Tanzania’s secondary education reform.
• Strengthen alignment between partners and funders, ensuring learning is integrated into program design.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and iterative learning to improve programme effectiveness.

Required profile

• Passion for youth employment and education impact in Africa.
• Experience working in multi‑partner, multi‑country programmes.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
