Senior Sales Manager – International Energy Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Sales Manager to lead the international expansion of our energy metering and storage portfolio. You will drive revenue growth, build long‑term customer relationships, and strengthen our market position across global territories.

Key responsibilities

• Own and exceed annual sales targets for the assigned overseas territory.
• Identify, generate, and pursue new business opportunities within the energy sector.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with utilities, EPC contractors, distributors, and end‑users.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead qualification to contract negotiation and project kickoff.
• Participate in international trade shows and conduct market research to provide competitive intelligence.
• Coordinate with internal technical, project, logistics, and after‑sales teams to ensure seamless order execution and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Automation, International Business or related field (advanced degree a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of proven international sales experience in energy, metering or power‑solution industries.
• Strong track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and handling complex B2B sales cycles.
• Experience with the South African market is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, presentation and proposal‑writing skills; fluency in English required.
• Highly self‑motivated, results‑oriented and comfortable working in cross‑cultural environments.
