Senior Associate – Deals (Transactions)

About the role

The Senior Associate in Deals (Transactions) at PwC Tanzania supports complex deal engagements across the transaction lifecycle, including acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring, valuations, and strategic advisory assignments. You will analyse financial and operational information, assist with due diligence, and contribute to high‑quality client deliverables, applying strong analytical thinking and commercial awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Support buy‑side and sell‑side transaction engagements, due diligence, valuations and restructuring assignments.
• Analyse financial statements, operational data and market information to identify key drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Prepare financial analyses, due diligence reports, valuation summaries and client presentations.
• Develop business plans, forecasts and other transaction‑related analyses.
• Perform trend analysis, profitability assessments and cash‑flow analysis.
• Assist in the preparation and review of financial models and related analytical tools.
• Coordinate transaction workstreams to meet deadlines and liaise with client stakeholders.
• Apply PwC’s risk management and quality assurance frameworks to all deliverables.

Required profile

• Qualified candidate with a degree relevant to finance, accounting or economics.
• Strong analytical thinking, commercial awareness and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to maintaining PwC’s quality and risk standards.
