Revenue Accountant

About the role

The Revenue Accountant will ensure that all revenues generated by the entity are recorded accurately and on time, supporting management with reliable financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Create customer accounts and manage contractual pricing in the OMNI Accounting system.
• Compile supporting documents and produce invoices promptly.
• Reconcile billing schedules, guard deployments, transmitters, and delivery notes before invoicing.
• Verify waybills for courier services and ensure all documentation from branches is received.
• Release invoices in accordance with company procedures and tax authority guidelines.
• Generate monthly variance revenue reports and unbilled revenue reports for accrual purposes.
• Maintain documentation for the billing process and ensure proper authorization of credit notes.
• Resolve client billing queries and support internal and external auditors.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in revenue accounting or a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field.
• Completed CPA or ACCA qualification.
• Working knowledge of ERP and accounting software systems.
• In‑depth understanding of applicable tax laws.

Required skills

• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with great attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi‑cultural, multi‑divisional team.
