Sales Executive – Advertising (Tanzania)

About the role
The Sales Executive will drive JCDecaux's outdoor advertising business in Tanzania. You will identify new advertising clients, expand spend with existing accounts, and ensure the achievement of monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new advertising clients while growing share of spend with current customers.
- Manage long‑term sales agreements to secure renewals and incremental growth.
- Monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales performance against budget and targets.
- Conduct regular sales meetings and provide accurate forecasts via CRM and Excel.
- Track competitor activity and market intelligence to protect market share.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to translate the annual business plan into operational targets.
- Utilise various routes to market, including internal and external networking, to generate new opportunities.
Required profile
- Marketing, BCom or equivalent degree.
- Minimum 8 years of sales experience, preferably in media and advertising.
- Strong knowledge of international media and creative trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, close deals and travel as needed.
